He is known and loved by millions as Jeff Foxworthy as he was born Jeffrey Marshall Foxworthy on September 6th 1958 in Atlanta, Georgia. His career soared in the early 90's as a result of his Country Redneck Humor and starred in his own television hit series. He has written books and toured coast to coast with his comedy. Before he rose to stardom, Jerf worked for IBM as a techie for years until some of his co-workers convinced him to enter a comedy club contest back in 1984 in which he won and since then he has set a name in Headline comedy.
