Also known as Daniel Lawrence Whitney born on February 17th, 1963 in Pawnee City, Nebraska where he grew up on a pig farm (don't laugh). In his college days his roomies were from the deep south and gave him the inspiration to develop his intense southern accent and so it goes, Daniel dropped out during his junior year at college and pursued his niche for comedy which was a great choice since his calling seemed to pay off handsomely as he transformed into "Larry the Cable man", he is known coast to coast as well as being heard on television, radio, and movies. He was named to Forbes Celebrity 100 list for the second year in a row. This lists the hottest and most successful people in the entertainment industry. Larry also received the 2006 Billboard Top Comedy Tour Award and his bestselling book that debuted in Oct. 2005 was number 26 on the New York Times Bestseller list.
