Bob Dylan
Dylan is a pioneer legend in music of the early folk sound that goes back over 5 decades and we are just blessed to have this one of a kind singer from the good ole USA and still touring for his fans as he's as popular now as he was back in the early 60s. He wrote some of the most important songs of a generation and he looks and sounds better now at 71 as he ages with amazing grace. His early songs were written to enhance the times of social change as his music brought out the best in so many who were aligned with his philosophical point of view. He had a message to the world and they listened.
Bob Dylan's most influential musicians such as Woodie Guthrie, Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley can be heard as he combines his sound to be of folk~blues~country~gospel. His instruments are vocals,harmonica,guitar, and keyboards. His award shelf is full of Grammy's, Golden Globes, Academy Awards, even a Pulitzer Prize. He is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as well as the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and recently received the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
