The Scotiabank Saddledome is Calgary's leader for entertainment excitement and the home to the NHL's Calgary Flames, the WHL's Calgary Hitmen. and the NLL's Calgary Roughnecks. The arena has seating for over 17,000 and also plays host to big ticket concerts, rodeos, ice shows, circuses, conventions, and more.

The Saddledome officially opened October 15, 1983. It hosted figure skating and hockey competitions during the 1988 Olympic Winter Games.
