We don't need any formal introductions with this great 60's & 70's folk rock artist who at the ripe age of 73 is still circulating and filling up showrooms and music venues. Canadian and International songster Gordon Lightfoot (b. Nov. 17, 1938) singer-songwriter, guitarist and piano player has been putting out hits since 1962 with his number 3 song Remember me and his chart break hit, "If You Could Read My Mind" (1970), then onto a favorite melodious number "Sundown" (1974), "Carefree Highway" (1974)," Rain day People" (1975), "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" (1976). His Gold and Platinum recordings have been re-recorded by an array of Rock Royalty. To get the chance to see him live is a real one time treat that should not be missed.
